What's the Latest: February Product Updates

Product Updates: February 2026
The focus over the last couple of months has been on making your commercial workflows more efficient and your fan data more actionable. From how you manage Promo Assets to some clever new data capabilities, here’s all you need to know.
Introducing FDP AI
This is a significant step forward for the Fan Data Platform, allowing you to query your entire fan database using natural language. Instead of manually sifting through datasets, you can now ask complex questions and receive instant insights by cross-referencing user, transactional, and behavioural data. Whether you are identifying high-value segments or spotting fans at risk of churn, FDP AI gets you to the answer faster, helping you act with much more confidence.
Placements and Promo Assets
The last few months have also seen a shift in how we handle on-site and in-app commercial inventory. We have introduced "Placements," a new way to categorise and manage where your Promo Assets live.
Previously, managing various banners, takeovers, and native ads across different pages could feel a bit disjointed. Now, by defining specific Placements on Cortex, you can control groups of assets with much more precision. This update allows you to tie Promo Assets to these defined locations, making it easier to swap creative, track performance, and ensure you aren't under-selling your digital real estate.
Ultimately, this means a more streamlined way to prove value. You can now report on specific areas of your site or app as distinct commercial products, giving your sponsors much clearer visibility on where their brand is being seen and how it’s performing.
Bulk Editing in Content
You can now select multiple items within the Content module to update in one go. This includes:
- Pinning or unpinning content.
- Deleting items or editing publish times (including unpublishing).
- Updating categories, tags, and linked IDs (with options to overwrite or add new).
- Editing Sponsors: If a brand sponsors a specific content series, such as all match reports, you can filter your search, select all relevant items, and add the sponsor to every piece of content instantly.
Fan Manager Optimisations
We’ve also introduced two key updates to Fan Manager designed to improve your support workflows and testing accuracy:
- Instant Email Verification: To help your support teams resolve fan queries faster, you can now verify email accounts directly within a fan profile. If a fan is stuck due to spam filters or delivery issues, your team will see a ‘Verify account’ button in the top right of the profile to solve the issue on the spot.
- Accurate Email Testing: When sending test emails from your templates, the system is now configured to send from the actual 'from email' address. This ensures that your setup is tested consistently as you make edits, so you can be certain of how it looks before a single fan sees it.
Looking Ahead
Expect to see more updates soon on how we’re making it even easier to deliver the right message to the right fan at the right moment.
