What's the Latest: April Product Updates

Making Fan Data Work Harder: Our April Product Round-up
We have launched an AI Content Assistant to write and translate copy in seconds, introduced "Threads" to our FDP AI, enabling more organised data queries, and upgraded our search tools to put your most important content in front of fans first.
At Cortex, we believe it’s not enough to simply own fan data; you must be able to understand it and act on it at the speed of sport. Our goal is to provide a modular orchestration layer that removes the technical bottlenecks, allowing your marketing, commercial, and sponsorship teams to move from insight to activation in minutes.
This month, we have focused on making our platform even more intuitive and powerful, ensuring your teams can stay ahead of the game.
Intelligence at Your Fingertips: FDP and CMS AI
The most exciting developments this month are the significant steps forward we have taken with our integrated artificial intelligence. We are beginning to roll out FDP AI Threads, a feature designed to make navigating your data insights as natural as a conversation. This update introduces a sophisticated way to manage multiple workstreams within the Fan Data Platform.
You can now maintain various conversational threads, each dynamically named by the AI based on the context of your queries. This means as your search evolves from, for example, 'analysing last month's email performance' to 'predicting ticket churn', the thread title updates automatically to keep your workspace organised. It allows your team to juggle different commercial questions simultaneously without losing their place, making the transition from raw data to actionable strategy faster than ever.
In tandem with our data improvements, we have introduced an AI Content Assistant directly into the text blocks of our CMS. This tool acts as a real-time editor for your content teams, offering the ability to instantly rephrase, shorten, or extend copy. Crucially for our global partners, it can also handle translations based on your specific locale settings. Whether you need to shift the tone of a match report to be more formal for a corporate audience or more friendly for a junior fan activation, the assistant handles the heavy lifting, freeing up your creators to focus on the story rather than the formatting.
Sophisticated Searching for a Better Fan Experience
We understand that providing a world-class digital experience requires fans to find exactly what they are looking for, instantly. To support this, we have released a new Advanced Search Endpoint in beta. This update allows developers to build much more nuanced search journeys on your websites and apps.
The value here is in the relevance; you can now boost specific results so that a trending news article or a high-priority ticket announcement appears above older archived content, even if they share similar keywords. By giving you more control over search, we are ensuring that the fan's journey is smooth, relevant, and ultimately more likely to lead to a commercial conversion.
Breaking Language Barriers
Our commitment to helping rights holders connect with global audiences has taken a major step forward with the expansion of our Multilingual Forms. To support the diverse requirements of global markets, we have added support for six new languages: German, Greek, Lithuanian, Russian, Serbian, Turkish.
This update isn’t just about labels; it includes the hard-coded text within the fan-facing components. This allows your teams to deploy digital activations and data-capture forms that feel local to every fan, regardless of where they are in the world. Removing these language barriers is essential for driving the value-exchange required to grow your marketable database.
Refined Workflows and Enhanced Usability
Sometimes the most significant value comes from the small refinements that make a daily task easier. We have updated our Media Picker and side menus to ensure that scrolling is more intuitive, preventing the background page from moving when you are trying to select an image. We have also ensured that the 16:9 crop ratio is pre-selected as standard, matching the most common requirements for modern sports platforms and saving your editors those extra few clicks every time they upload a photo.
Furthermore, we have enhanced the reliability of our Polls and Custom Content Blocks, ensuring that versioning is consistent and that unsaved changes are tracked more accurately. These updates are all designed to reduce the manual workload on your staff, allowing them to respond to the fast-moving news cycles of the sporting world with total confidence.
These updates all serve our core mission: to help you move faster, reduce your dependency on manual data processing, and ultimately drive higher ROI through deeper, more personal fan connections.
