Job Description

Built for sport, Cortex is a platform that connects data, content and commercial inventory, elevating the fan experience and generating new multi-channel revenue opportunities for rightsholders.

We are seeking a passionate and hands-on Product Adoption Executive to work closely with our direct customers and channel partners in relentlessly focussing on their adoption of our products, enabling them to get the most from our product suite.

The Product Adoption Executive will use qualitative and quantitative methods to assess where end customers are gaining best value from our products and provide this information back to the Customer Success and Product teams to ensure we continually evolve our offerings to best align with market / client needs.

Cortex is a new brand with an exciting future, but built upon a 9 year legacy of working with major global sports rights holders. Key Responsibilities (estimated % of time spent on task)

  • Develop and Execute Adoption Strategies (25%)
    • Create and implement strategies to drive user adoption of products and features
    • Identify key adoption challenges and pain points, and develop solutions to address them
    • Monitor product performance and identify areas for improvement in user adoption
  • User Education and Enablement (15%)
    • In conjunction with the Manager, Product Training, assist in developing and delivering training materials and resources to help users understand and effectively use the products
    • Guide users through the product experience, providing support and answering questions
    • Stay current on product updates and new features to provide accurate and up-to-date guidance
  • User Feedback Collection and Analysis (35%)
    • Actively gather user feedback to improve product adoption and user experience
    • Analyze user behavior data to identify areas for improvement and optimization
    • Prioritize and track customer feedback for product enhancements
  • Collaboration and Communication (Continuous)
    • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Partnerships and other teams to ensure a smooth product launch and continuous improvement
    • Maintain open communication with users and stakeholders to keep them informed and engaged
    • Contribute to the product roadmap by identifying user needs and potential areas for growth
  • Tracking and Reporting (25%)
    • Monitor key metrics related to product adoption and user engagement
    • Regularly report on adoption progress and provide recommendations for improvement
    • Utilize data and analytics to track progress and measure success

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience
    • Experience in customer success or technology adoption within a software business
    • An understanding of software adoption techniques and data points
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Skills
    • A willingness to build a deep knowledge of Cortex products
    • A strong communicator who can nuance delivery to meet particular audience needs
    • An ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • An ability to prioritise on an impact v urgency basis, moving dynamically between projects and workloads with ease

  • End customer retention rates and associated revenue target achievement
  • Return on Investment (ROI) of adoption programs and initiatives
  • Customer and partner satisfaction and engagement rates in relation to training and adoption

About Cortex

The Cortex story began in 2015 when CEO Aidan met CTO Ciaran in the innovation laboratories of a university campus outside the youthful, tech-savvy city of Brighton, United Kingdom. Together with the start-up development team, they began to build a solution to a market problem, building technology to create more connected digital ecosystems.
