We are seeking a passionate and hands-on Manager, Sales Enablement to support our direct and channel partnerships sales teams, internally and with our partners, to be best prepared to convert Cortex revenue.
The Manager, Sales Enablement will play a crucial role in executing the company's direct and channel sales strategies.
Cortex is a new brand with an exciting future, but built upon a 9 year legacy of working with major global sports rights holders. Key Responsibilities
Channel Partner Sales Enablement:
- Develop and implement effective strategies to enable our channel partnerships to be able to sell Cortex products, with minimal input from Cortex staff
- Assess bid documents from partners and provide assistance to ensure they best represent Cortex, our products and our culture
- Define bid goals, themes, and key messages to align channel partners to key Cortex brand messaging, liaising closely with our Marketing function
- Collaborate with channel partners to understand customer needs and map them to effective Cortex solutions
- Ensure partner success by supporting solution validation, integration planning, and proof-of-concepts
Direct Sales Bid Process Management:
- Manage the end-to-end bid process, from pre-qualification to proposal submission
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, technical, marketing, etc.) to gather information and resources
- Ensure compliance with all bid requirements and deadlines
- Manage the bid budget and monitor performance against KPIs
Proposal Development:
- Oversee the development of compelling and winning proposals, for direct sales and channel partners
- Ensure proposals are well-structured, clear, and persuasive
- Collaborate with bid writers and other team members to refine the proposal content
Client / Partner Engagement:
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Attend bid presentations and client meeting
- Provide post-bid follow-up and support
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and analyze bid performance metrics
- Identify areas for improvement in the bid process
- Prepare reports and presentations on bid performance
Candidate Requirements
- Experience
- 3+ years of experience in direct SaaS sales or channel management, with a proven track record of growing direct sales channels at enterprise level
- A deep understanding of the sales process, ideally within a niche industry to demonstrate an ability to apply sales techniques to achieve specific sales outcomes
- Demonstrable experience in growing revenue through direct sales, ideally in a SaaS environment
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen to execute against high-growth sales targets
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- An ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- An ability to prioritise on an impact v urgency basis, moving dynamically between projects and workloads with ease

The Cortex story began in 2015 when CEO Aidan met CTO Ciaran in the innovation laboratories of a university campus outside the youthful, tech-savvy city of Brighton, United Kingdom.
